Kings Way Primary School back in the days
BacKground
Kings way Primary School is a private
academic institution located along Entebbe Road opposite Fuel station in Seguku.
It started on 5th February, 2001 by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Muramura and it derives its
name from the road along which it is situated (Nneebalamye Mayanja) which the
King of Buganda Kingdom officially uses ast as he heads to Nagalabi coronation
grounds.
The school started with 55 students and 10
teachers and has grown to 1500 students with a teaching staff of 60 teachers
who are well trained and qualified. The
school began with 20 permanent and 3 semi-permanent classrooms to accommodate
the students and the faculty.
But as for today, the school has five
blocks with over 33 classrooms dining hall, offices and staff quarters, The school
trains its learners in both curricular co-curricular activities and has a play
ground, it has clubs and societies and every child is entitled to belong to any
of the clubs in the school.
The school has a well-equipped library, science laboratory, where learners go for research and computer laboratory to aid in computer
training and promoting computer literacy.
